S? of all home decorating and I do not want to start trying to make things look nice. Now I'm just starting with this issue. The walls in the room are a gray green? Ceo dark. The stain of the furniture is dark Borgo? A-ish. The side tables are alike and have the (gold colored) brass handles. There are also? N a tall boy and matching dresser.

Do something light, like a light dusty blue, or a rosey pink, golden yellow, lavender, you could even go as dark as a light more orange red, as long as you balanced it with some off white, or golden pillows. Stripes are always nice.

I think a soft sage green would be nice. Green is known to be a relaxing color that is perfect for the bedroom.

Mahogany is a wood. What color stain? It has more to do with your wall and trim colors, old or new.

How about dark purple?? Tryt to use a rich material, coz it sounds like its looking quite post, avoid cotton or u will lose that look. Then u can add cusions on to match the walls to co-ordinate it.

Sounds to me like you should use some light colors for the bed cover. Beige background with pastel colored flowers or floral pattern.

Red and gold goes well with the mahogany stain you are talking about.

Your furniture sounds beautiful! Very nice choice.
I personally would bring out the class in the furniture by putting on a metallic fabric, something light in color… a pearlized cream or champagne. I’m including a couple of links, these are the colors I’m thinking of, not necessarily the prints, for I’m not sure of your decor. I really like the last one from linens and things!
